Computone Lyricon II Electronic Wind Instrument (EWI) Analog Synthesizer - Serviced

Description

The Computone Lyricon II is a vintage electronic wind synthesizer developed in the 1970s that allows musicians to control synthesizer sounds using breath and fingerings similar to a saxophone. It converts breath pressure and key movements into electronic signals that shape pitch, volume, and expression.

Unlike earlier versions, the Lyricon II includes a built in analog synthesizer so it can generate sounds on its own. It is considered one of the earliest and most influential wind controllers, helping inspire later instruments like the Akai EWI!

Please note: it will require a replacement reed to be fully playable. Replacement reeds are available and commonly replaced as part of normal maintenance on Lyricon instruments.

This particular unit was recently serviced in house and received a clean bill of health. The instrument is functioning as intended and ready for use. Includes original carrying case and appropriate cables as shown.
