Amazing 2018 Gibson Les Paul R8 that went thru the Historic Makeover Deluxe Package. Beautiful 3D flametop and lightweight at 7lbs 15oz. The finish is the Dirty Lemon Burst, Kim's best seller top finish, with a broken in feel, guitar parts shadows as per one of the pictures, and light distressing.
Deluxe Package consists of a gorgeous dark Brazilian Board, 6/6 nylon nut, rolled Royalite binding, real nitro painting and lots of natural weather checking, dish and neck carved to real 59 specs, all aged to a very tasteful broken in feel. Vintage spec frets and wonderful to play.
Upgrades include Retrospect Catalina Switch Tip and Poker Chip, Retrospect Truss Rod Cover. Guitar has Gibson True Historic appointments such as Amber Bonnet Knobs, Pickup Rings, Pickguard, black back cover plates, Klusons tuners, ABR-1 no wire bridge, thumbwheels and posts, lightweight aluminum tailpiece, vintage length studs, Jack plate, Lifton Reissue Lacquered case.
Guitar also comes with stock Custom Buckers including the new covers that are much better than before and closer to the vintage ones. And the original custom shop wiring harness.
This guitar is amazingly beautiful, very light and plays like a breeze. Its a tone monster as the real non plasticized nitro painting takes two blankets from the wood. Plays loud unplugged which is the best proof of the choice. Comes with the Gibson COA and candy, plus the HM COA.
