Description
2001 Gibson Les Paul R8 makeover from "the Good Wood Era" that includes Honduran Mahogany body & neck, Vintage looking Deep Flame Maple top Dark Brazilian fingerboard, Cellulose Nitrate inlays and Assembled with Hot hide glue.

* Stem out the neck, remove the fingerboard with a heat blanket
* Install 50's style truss rod / Remove rubber sheath
* Install beautiful dark 50's looking Brazilian fingerboard
* Install cellulose nitrate inlays, Roll fretboard binding edges
* Reshape the neck profile to Vintage 58 specs
* Glue neck in with hot Hide glue
* Reshape Top Carve
* Break the sharp headstock & binding edges
* Correct oil base pore filler
* Correct aniline dyes / High solids nitrocellulose lacquer
* Restamp S/N
* CTS Premium 550K pots / NOS Russian PIO caps
* St Helens Non-wire ABR1 bridge & Featherweight Nickel-plated Aluminum Stoptail
* Grover tuners with plastic Keystone buttons
* ThroBak Rings (lightly Aged Bone color)
* ThroBak JW-102B PAF style pickups
* Jescar 57110 Frets / Bone Nut
